Portal("we," "us," or "our") provides software that lets venues and organizations publish events, posts, newsletters, and member portals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you use our platform.
If you sign up through a venue's public portal, that venue (your "workspace owner") is usually responsible for how your relationship with them is described. We process certain data on their behalf as a service provider.

We do not store your raw IP address in your user profile. Signup location is recorded once at account creation and is not updated on later sign-ins.
When you create an account on a venue portal or workspace, we estimate your general location from your IP address so the workspace owner can understand where members signed up (for example, which city or region). This helps venues operate multi-location businesses and analyze membership.
We do not use signup location for advertising, sale to data brokers, or unrelated profiling. Workspace owners can view signup location for members of their workspace in the admin Users list.

We keep account information, including signup location, for as long as your account exists in a workspace. When a workspace owner or we delete your user record, associated signup location data is removed with it. Backup and log retention may persist for a limited period for security and disaster recovery.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at privacy@example.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If you signed up through a venue portal, the workspace owner may also hold information about you. Contact them directly for venue-specific requests, or contact us if you need help routing your request.
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including HTTPS and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your home country.
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
